About
Thanks for visiting my [tag]photoblog[/tag]. As a [tag]photographer[/tag], much of my work relates to people and on things that are really part of the ordinary everyday. I love the concept of doing [tag]street photography[/tag], even though often times I shrink from being the in-your-face [tag]street photographer[/tag] or even the one who covertly takes pictures of people, so my ‘street’ work contains much of the surrounding architecture or landscapes, with a few people portraits slipped into the mix.
The cameras I use
I started the picture-a-day project after being inspired by another blogger Benspark. For this work I use an [tag]Olympus FE-240[/tag] digital camera. It’s easy to carry around everyday, is small and unobtrusive. I also don’t have to worry that I have got up and walked away without it.
As time goes on I will be transferrng some of my earlier work from my main Photography website www.morlenefisher.com, as it is difficult for me to maintain the current quantity of websites that I have operating, and I find blogging a much more interactive and less static web platform. I look at my blogs everyday, I look at my other websites seldom. For my portrait work I use a [tag]Nikon D200[/tag] (previously [tag]Nikon D100[/tag] but I upgraded Yeah!)
I use film and digital and have a 35mm [tag]Nikon FM2n,[/tag] and a couple of [tag]range finders[/tag], which although they haven’t been out recently, will be dusted off and taken out to play very soon. By far my favourite camera is my [tag]medium format[/tag] [tag]Bronica ETRSI[/tag]. The medium format blows everything else away and I can’t wait for the weather to settle a little so that I can start practicing some landscape work with it.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy what you see, and if you have time, please critique the work on show. It all helps me to grow.
Remember I do follow so you’ll get some link love from Org*nix.
